As soon as your WD hard drive is received, it is immediately logged into our system. At this point, you will receive a call from your CBL customer care professional who will confirm receipt of the unit and gather any further information required by our CBL laboratory engineers.

The WD hard drive is then quickly sent into the laboratory for evaluation. During this evaluation stage, whenever possible, a copy of your media is made. As one of CBL’s founding policies, we make sure that the original data and media is never compromised in any way.

Once the evaluation is complete, your customer care professional will contact you to inform you of the evaluation results and we will follow up with a written quotation for your approval.

When the data is recovered, it is taken through a strict quality control process to ensure it is in a usable format. Your data is returned to you in the media of your choice. In most cases, DVD-ROM’s are utilized but an external USB hard disk can also be provided. In some cases, CBL can send data back via FTP transfer.
